Klaus Wedell
We are very sad to let you know Klaus died last week. Some of you knew him or knew of him. The idea of the SEN Policy Research Forum was his in the early 1990s. He was very keen on stakeholders talking about policy and practice in the field of special needs education and used to run discussion groups at the Institute of Education where he was professor. The SEN Policy Options Group, the previous name for the Forum was built on this experience with funding from the ESRC and the Cadbury Trust in 1993.
We will arrange some commemoration of his life and work in a future event.
