Julie Dockrell, who was a long-standing member of the SEN Policy Research Forum Lead Group, has decided time has come to stand down from the role. We would like to thank her for her contributions to the Forum and wish her well in her future endeavours.
We are delighted to announce that Susana Castro Kemp has agreed to join the Lead Group. Susana is an Associate Professor in Psychology and Human Development and is the Director of the UCL Centre for Inclusive Education. She completed her PhD in 2012 on classifications of SEND – a joint degree between Porto University in Portugal and the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill (UCL). She has led funded projects on SEND, including a large project looking at the quality of Education, Health and Care Plans. Susana therefore brings a wealth of experience with her, and we are looking forward to working with her.
